What remodeling in Kendall involves

Kendall is unincorporated, so permits run through Miami-Dade County rather than a city hall, and its 1970s–1990s homes, many re-roofed after Hurricane Andrew in 1992, are reaching the age where kitchens, baths and roofs come due together.

Kendall is family homes on their first or second major remodel.

Permits in Miami-Dade

Unincorporated Miami-Dade (Kendall included) permits through the county’s RER Building division, while incorporated cities such as Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables and Hialeah run their own building departments — all enforcing the Florida Building Code’s High-Velocity Hurricane Zone provisions. We file with whichever office has jurisdiction over your address and meet every inspection.
